The Counseling Center at the College of Aviation Industry offers a variety of psychological and counseling services to students and staff.   2. Academic Support

    • Assisting with effective study techniques and guidance for students with concentration or academic planning challenges.
  3. Family and Interpersonal Counseling

    • Improving family and peer relationships.
    • Providing pre- and post-marriage counseling for students, focusing on criteria for choosing a spouse and understanding relationship dynamics.
  4. Addiction Counseling

    • Educating about the risks associated with substance abuse and offering support for quitting.
  5. Psychological Testing

    • Administering diagnostic tests to assess anxiety, depression, OCD, personality traits, and other psychological conditions.
  6. Psychiatric Referrals

Responsibilities of the Counseling Center Director

  • Monitoring students’ mental and health status and providing necessary guidance and interventions.
  • Overseeing health standards in cafeterias, dormitories, and other university facilities.
  • Ensuring healthcare services for students and staff.
  • Providing counseling and psychological services for students and their families.
  • Coordinating with other departments to integrate activities that align with the center’s objectives.
  • Maintaining student health records and following up on cases requiring medical attention.
  • Organizing educational and training workshops to promote physical and mental health among students.
  • Liaising with organizations and agencies related to mental health and counseling.
  • Preparing and distributing psychology and health newsletters as needed.
  • Reporting to the student affairs department and other university officials.
  • Managing the center and carrying out other tasks as assigned by university authorities.
