Introduction to the Group:
Since 1941, due to the increase in flights and the need for controlling and preventing collisions and guiding pilots at airports and airways, the discipline of flight supervision and control has emerged as a specialized profession in the aviation industry. To prepare individuals for this profession, the Aviation Engineering Group of this center has undertaken to provide academic education in this field at both associate and bachelor’s levels (continuous and non-continuous), as well as organizing various specialized courses such as Safety Management System (SMS), Air Traffic Control Tower courses, Approach courses, etc.
This group, in line with its educational goals, possesses equipped simulators for Control Tower, Approach Control, Flight Control Center, and Radar. It is responsible for training the required human resources for more than 54 airports across the country.
