Duties and Authorities:

  • Planning the semester schedule for courses.
  • Supervising instructors to ensure coverage of course syllabi and selection of appropriate textbooks and resources for teaching.
  • Monitoring the preparation of mid-term and final exam questions and conducting examinations.
  • Addressing student requests for credit transfer from other institutions.
  • Participating in college meetings (Educational Council – Group meetings).
  • Maintaining and updating the group’s laboratories.
  • Handling other requests from the Educational Vice Chancellor and Education Management.

 

Introduction to the Group:

Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Engineering encompasses a collection of engineering sciences, technical knowledge, and necessary standards and regulations to ensure and guarantee the proper functioning of various aircraft systems. Given the complexity of aircraft as super-systems, an aircraft maintenance engineer must possess comprehensive knowledge spanning mechanical engineering, aerospace, and avionics, along with familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.

The Aircraft Maintenance and Repair Engineering Group, relying on experienced faculty and utilizing state-of-the-art laboratories and workshops nationwide, accepts candidates from the diploma level. After training at both the associate and bachelor’s levels, graduates become specialized professionals capable of active participation in various sectors of the aviation industry.
