Responsibilities and Authorities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Formulating strategies to achieve the college’s goals and align with the mission of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.

  2. Implementation of Policies: Enforcing educational and research policies approved by relevant authorities, including the college’s Board of Trustees.

  3. Organizational Management: Structuring the organization chart and proposing it for approval, as well as appointing and dismissing vice presidents and heads of various departments.

  4. Financial Oversight: Preparing and proposing the annual budget and presenting financial reports and balance sheets for board approval.

  5. Policy Execution: Issuing directives for compliance with the Ministry’s policies, laws, and cultural, educational, research, and administrative regulations.

  6. Student and Faculty Affairs: Proposing annual student admissions, issuing official documentation for faculty and staff employment, promotions, and dismissals according to regulations.

  7. Internal and External Coordination: Managing educational, research, student, and administrative operations, along with internal and external relations, to ensure cohesive functionality.

  8. Quality Assurance: Ensuring academic and administrative excellence by guiding cultural, educational, and technological activities within regulatory bounds.

  9. Disciplinary Oversight: Supervising the discipline and conduct of faculty, students, and staff per college policies.

  10. Development and Expansion: Suggesting initiatives for establishing, expanding, merging, or dissolving departments and recommending collaborations with domestic and international educational and research institutions.
